Particle Circulating in a Conical Bowl

This animation shows a small sphere moving smoothly along the inner wall of a frictionless conical bowl at a fixed height h. The normal reaction force N is resolved into a vertical component N cos(theta) balancing gravity and a horizontal component N sin(theta) supplying the centripetal force needed for circular motion. Useful for physics students studying circular motion, force decomposition, and equilibrium in non-horizontal constraint surfaces.

The prompt that made it

Scene 7: Smooth Particle in a Conical BowlVisual Prompt: Animation of a small sphere rotating smoothly inside a frictionless conical bowl at height $h$. Normal reaction force 'N' decomposes into vertical ($N \cos\theta$) and horizontal ($N \sin\theta$) vectors pushing towards the circular center. Text / Voiceover: "For a ball sliding inside a smooth conical bowl, the normal force provides the inward push required for uniform motion."
