Linear Sequences and the nth Term

This animation introduces linear (arithmetic) sequences, showing how each term increases or decreases by a constant common difference. It visually builds a number pattern, identifies the first term and common difference, then derives and applies the formula nth term = a + d(n-1). A worked example demonstrates finding a specific term, making it ideal for GCSE, IGCSE, and Edexcel students learning sequence formulas.
