Orienting the Plane Two Ray Positions

This animation shows a point O with a fixed ray Ox and two candidate rays, Oy and Oy', lying on opposite sides of Ox. A circular arrow around O establishes a positive rotational direction for the plane. Ox then rotates through that positive direction until it aligns with Oy, which is highlighted as the chosen position while Oy' remains visible but secondary. It helps students visualize how orientation determines a unique rotational path between two candidate rays, useful for introducing oriented angles in geometry.

The prompt that made it

Create a clean professional mathematical animation. Keep the point O and the three rays: Ox, Oy and Oy'. Oy and Oy' are on opposite sides of Ox. First, clearly show that there are two possible positions: Oy and Oy'. Then orient the plane by adding a circular arrow around O showing the positive direction. Animate Ox rotating in the positive direction until it reaches Oy. Keep Oy' visible as the other possible position. At the end, highlight Oy and keep Oy' visible but secondary. No vectors. No angle values. No degrees. No oriented-angle notation. No explanatory text. White background. Blue mathematical lines. Elegant classroom style.
